Simon Pearce ASWW MBA PhD
Founder
I founded Confidence Wills to help people take control of critical decisions affecting their quality of life and of those they leave. My work in neuroscience brought into sharp relief the unexpected challenges arising from ‘doing nothing’ with respect to end-of-life planning and I wanted to change that for the better. We place family values at the heart of everything we do and aim to offer the best service in the market.

I have a Master's degree in Law. I have previously held full membership of both the Society of Will writers and the Institute of Professional Will writers. Over ten years of experience in the Will writing sector. A thoughtful approach to advice, which results in a will that best suits your needs. Hobbies include exercise, amateur dramatics, editing the local newspaper and the Glastonbury Festival.

I have specialised in estate planning for more than fifteen years. Previously I was training to be a emigration lawyer. On moving to the to South of England, my outlook changed. I saw the effect of aging on finances amongst friends and relatives an switched to estate planning and probate. Currently I am member of SWW, STEP and ICEAW. My hobbies include running and healthy living (I recently completed the Manchester marathon). I love to solve problems for clients.

Specialising in Estate Planning for the last seven years I am a member of the Society of Will Writers. I was previously a qualified Financial Adviser and more recently practising a regulated Mortgage Adviser. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than helping my clients achieve their goals. I enjoy travelling and have been to many parts of the world. For my sins I support Birmingham City Football Club.
Dr Rebecca Johnson PhD DClinPsych

As a clinical psychologist in older adult care, I witnessed first hand the impact on families of failing to plan, while at the same time supporting end of life care. My first doctorate focussed on how a person’s environment can restrict their growth and felt Confidence Wills in a position to help. I am on hand to support those who find it difficult to get their affairs in order owing to the impact of age, and also offer psychological insight to team members when called upon.
Jaimmie Poon MSWW MBA
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
A skilled administrator and Director of Operations, Jaimmie previously headed up client onboarding at BNP Paribas before occupying VP roles within JP Morgan Chase and Credit Suisse. Born in Hong Kong, Jaimmie completed her Business Studies degree in Canada before obtaining her MBA in 2005. Jaimmie’s organisational capabilities have supported Confidence Wills’ growth, implementing as she has processes to optimise client experience and speed turn around. Jaimmie leads the firm’s Manchester office.

I have 15 years of Will writing experience and am a member of the SWW. I hold a diploma in financial services and a degree in Mathematics. I take great pleasure in ensuring my clients put their affairs in order and this role gives me great satisfaction. I am a family man and my hobbies are supporting Cardiff City FC and rugby.

An experienced estate planning consultant, I decided to work with Confidence Wills because their ethos of looking after the clients matches my own. I have 7 years' experience in estate planning and i am a member of Society of Will Writers. Previously I worked as a qualified Financial Adviser for 15 years, nothing gives me more satisfaction than helping my clients achieve their goals and giving them a 1st class service I enjoy travelling and have been to many parts of the World I love watching football, Cricket & Rugby my main hobbies is swimming, cycling and walking my dog in the Yorkshire dales, watching films and cooking.

Having completed a degree in Business Studies, Richard occupied a number of senior positions in ‘household name’ companies across the UK. It was, however, whilst convalescing from surgery for a life-threatening condition that Richard became acutely aware of the need from proper estate planning and joined the industry. A longtime member of the Society of Will Writers and active on behalf of a number of health-related charities, Richard applies his knowhow to helping clients plan for the future no matter how challenging or complex

I became interested in Estate planning after personal experience and seeing the issues and problems that can arise without the correct documents such as Wills and LPA's I now have twelve years experience and am a member of The Society of Will Writers. I can now help family's keep control and hold on to their home and assets they have worked hard for all their lives. It's important to be protected and have the right documents.
